Flagship Event
Our flagship event — a backyard ultra on a working ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Every hour, on the hour, runners take on a 4.1667-mile loop; miss the cutoff and you’re out. There’s no set distance and no finish line — the race ends only when one runner remains. December 5, 2026 · Dripping Springs, Texas. $5,000 to the Last Man Standing and $5,000 to the Last Woman Standing.

Capstone is an endurance experience company. We design and produce world-class ultramarathons and last-person-standing races — from the Texas Hill Country to the Nevada desert — built to test your limits and maximize your potential. Every detail, from the course to the final aid station, is crafted so you finish a different athlete than the one who started.
Capstone was founded by Rob Sembiante, a former U.S. Navy Diver who found in ultrarunning the same growth he chased through military selection. That standard runs through everything we host: dialed-in logistics, serious safety, and race direction that lets you focus on the only thing that matters — the next mile.
